Terms and Conditions for Animal Welfare Organizations

 

       In order to sell FOSTERING CHAMP as a fundraiser for your group, you must register with the author.  If you are a 501(c)(3) organization, you must provide author with a copy of your tax-exempt status so that you are not charged sales tax.  If you are a tax-exempt organization and your supporters buy the book directly from you, they will not be charged Indiana sales tax.  If you are a tax-exempt organization but your supporters buy directly from me, they will be charged Indiana sales tax.  If you are not a tax-exempt organization, you and your supporters will be required to pay Indiana sales tax.  As long as your organization is registered, whether tax-exempt or not, you will receive 50% of the profit from every book purchased.  Your supporters MUST indicate the group’s name when ordering in order for you to receive your profit.

 

       Animal welfare groups may purchase copies of FOSTERING CHAMP to sell from their location(s) at a cost of $8.50 per book.  The group may sell the book for the retail price of $11.50, retaining a 50% profit of $3.00 per book.  Groups will also be responsible for shipping and handling costs.  If you are in the Northwest Indiana or Chicagoland area, arrangements can be made with the author for pick-up so shipping and handling costs are not incurred.

 

       Organizations are encouraged to provide a link on their website to author’s website, www.sandipetee.com, to make it easier for supporters to purchase the book online, saving organizations up-front costs and storage space.

 

       Royalty donations will be paid on a quarterly basis to registered groups.  You will be notified via email each time a purchase is made on behalf of your organization for purposes of crosschecking with quarterly donation invoice.

 

       Organizations may also purchase copies autographed by the author to use for fundraisers such as silent auctions, raffles, gift baskets, etc.

 

       Arrangements may also be made for author to do book signing at events, depending on type of event, distance and author’s schedule.

 

       BOOKS ARE NOT-RETURNABLE AND NON-REFUNDABLE.
