About the Author
Sandi Petee has been an animal lover all her life. As a child, she frequently took in stray animals. As a young adult, Sandi began volunteering for various animal welfare groups. Later, Sandi decided to make helping animals her career.
Sandi is currently the Spay/Neuter Clinic Director at the South Suburban Humane Society in Chicago Heights, Illinois. She is also a former elementary school teacher. Sandi resides in Indiana with her husband, two children, two dogs, two hamsters, thirteen fish and various foster animals. This is her first children’s book. She hopes to make this into a series of books, each highlighting a different animal welfare theme. |
